I lost 9 pounds 5 inches
off my waist and 2 inches off my hips and 1 inch off my chest
thats a total of 8 inches in 4 weeks!

I was completely bored with exercising. I have

The Adventure Boot Camp is simply the best! I particularly
like the variety of activities and the sense of fun that's
built into the program. I really felt like I was getting the

I'm feeling fitter and stronger than I have for
years! The timing can somtimes be difficult but I have made
time for Boot Camp even if meant working later or at the weekend.
Most importantly, Merlin's training has prevented me from
"suffering" as I stretched and firmed up muscles
that have lay drmant for years. This is one of the reasons
I'm still in the program and looking forward to the next 8
weeks...

My cholesterol-related numbers are one example. My
total cholesterol dropped 33%--from 243 to 162, HDL (good)
cholesterol rose from 30 to 50 and the LDL (bad) cholesterol
dropped from 164 to a safer 98. My triglycerides were cut
drastically-by three-quarters-from 255 to 70. Most importantly,
my glucose level remained firmly in the pre-diabetic range.
Weight-wise I dropped over 20%--from somewhere in
the 190’s down to 150. My trouser size went from a tight
38 to a loose 34. Aerobically, I can sustain a heart rate
in the mid 130’s for a long time, and recovery is rapid:
I can be down to below 100 in a matter of minutes. All these
have added a great deal to my stamina. Recently Merlin tested
my progress on the weights, and on all the exercised I was
able to lift at least 30% and as much as 50% more weight than
I could when I started.
Most importantly, though, I can feel the difference
in my life. Stairs and chores don’t tire me nearly as
much. I spread over 30 cubic yards of mulch with little strain,
and when I helped my son move into a new house, I was able
to keep up with, and sometimes outdo, his twenty-something
friends. I am now in the best shape of my life since high
school.
While we have done the watching our diet and keeping
the workouts, the core of our success is the guidance of Merlin.

| Once we got started with Merlin, the
first thing I noticed in addition to weight loss was that after
about a month, going down the stairs hurt less, and going up
didn’t even wind me. I could paint for longer periods
of time and now knew good stretched to keep me going. By spring,
I could garden till time for dinner, stopping for water and
just to enjoy the results. I still have to accommodate for permanently
damaged knees, but even that requires less effort. Recently,
I actually kneeled to weed for a short time-something I had
given up a few years ago. And this week, I have worked on a
commissioned painting for mega hours at a time, breaking for
stretches, ice, and exercise, and then going back to it. I’m
a new women. Not only would we do this
again, but also we would definitely work with Merlin and plan
to for a long time to come. I have seen results I couldn’t
have dreamed of a year ago and have come to rely on his coaching,
professionalism, and advice. Something else I have appreciated
deeply are Merlin’s credentials: an academic degree
backed by sound knowledge of the body’s systems and
structure and his keeping up to date with new knowledge and
trends in his field. He also can adapt what he knows to the
individual’s restrictions, condition, and needs and
can communicate his knowledge so that we can actually understand.
And going from a size 3X to a 10-12 doesn’t
hurt either.

I am writing this letter after working with you for
just two weeks on my body transformation. While it may be
too soon to see any big results in inches and pounds, I would
like to thank you for the amazing changes I am seeing. As
I shared with you previously, I have struggled with diet and
exercise for the majority of my adult life. I have tried all
of the gyms-from the mega health club chains to the women’s
30 minute fad gyms. I have met with their trainers and followed
their advice. The results-very little change to my body and
lots of frustration.
Since you designed my Body Transformation program,
I am both feeling and seeing results in a way I never thought
possible. After two weeks, my energy level is way up and I
have not missed a workout. I can get out of bed and look forward
to my workout. I am no longer suffering from pain in my feet,
back or neck. I can even feel a difference in my posture and
the way I stand and walk. It is hard to describe, but I truly
feel like my body is functioning now the way it was always
meant to function.
In just 14 days, I am even seeing a change in the
way my clothes fit. Before starting this program, I was up
to a size 18 petite pants. Do you know how hard it is to find
clothes in an 18 petite? (There is nothing petite about a
size 18) Anyway, all of my size 18’s are very loose
in the waist already. So I went to the store and for the first
time in over 2 years, I was able to buy a size 16 petite at
a regular clothing store (not a women’s store). All
I can say is thank you!!!! I am so excited and motivated to
keep it up.
I think that all of your knowledge about how the
body works are essential, but the real key for me has been
the way you motivate me to work harder. I seriously know I
could not do this without our sessions. I would recommend

DEC 21 2007: 12 Weeks ago, I thought I would quit
Adventure Boot Camp at end of the first 4-week session. However,
after working with Merlin for just a few weeks, I knew I wanted
to keep going!. Merlin does a great job working withyou (at
your own pace) and keeping you motivated. Thanks to Merlin's
exercise regiment, I have lost more pounds and inches then
I thenI thought possible. This program has made me feel better

Well, here is my testimonial. Thanks again. I had
a great time. And got a lot out of it.
Dec. 21, 2007:When my girlfriend first approached me about
doing a 4 week ‘bootcamp’ I felt a little scared
at the idea. ‘Bootcamp’ just sounds like it is
meant to break you and be really hard. But I took a leap of
faith and decided to give it a try. After all, it was only
for 4 weeks, I could tough it out for that long, right? Well,
I ended up loving it and signed on for an additional 8 weeks
and loved that part also. Merlin, our bootcamp instructor,
made the sessions fit our level of fitness but at the same
time encouraged us to push ourselves if he thought we could
handle more. And most of the time, he was right, we could
handle pushing our bodies to a greater level of strength and
fitness. It was always a fun, unthreatening atmosphere with
a lot of differences in the daily and weekly workouts so it
never got boring. It taught me to think differently about
exercise and eating. After 12 weeks I lost inches, weight
and percentage of body fat. When I started the program I couldn’t
do any standard push ups, now I can do 20. And since I thought
I was in pretty good shape before the bootcamp this proved
to me how my fitness level improved dramatically over the
12 weeks. After my husband saw the obvious results I was getting
out of the bootcamp he decided to sign up for the next session.
I would recommend this program to anyone. I am kind of sad
the my 12 weeks are over.

My family and I recently went on a ski vacation to
Colorado. Since I hadn’t been on skis in a year I was
expecting to be completely sore after the first day. I was
surprised that I wasn’t sore after any of the days I
was skiing, even though the rest of my family could barely

Bootcamp was a blast!! I feel like I have finally
learned the correct way to strength train! Merlin always kept
it interesting and changed things up. We never got bored or

After having my second child, I committed to finally losing
weight and getting fit. I had a lot to lose, but first started
slowly by changing my eating habits. Eventually, I realized
I would have to add exercise if I was going to be successful
long term. I started working out at home with my treadmill
and lifting weights the same as I had always done. I realized
though that I wasn’t really sure what to do in order
to really change my physical appearance beyond just looking
slimmer. I always desired the definition of muscles, and a
lean look, but lacked the knowledge on how to construct a
plan to make it happen.
I started working with Merlin and decided to abandon whatever
prior knowledge I had on exercise. Almost immediately, I felt
like I was truly doing something very different. This was
really fun and extremely challenging. After a workout, I felt
taxed, but great. With two small kids, my only options to
work out 6 days a week are to get up early… very early,
even on the weekends. I never really had any setback moments
where I didn’t want to get up and workout or that I
even thought about skipping a workout. I was seeing results,
helping further my weight loss and finally felt like an exercise
program was complementing me. This is now part of my lifestyle,
rather than something I just did to lose weight. Merlin also
had great advice on nutrition. I don’t like following
weird plans to lose weight, my philosophy is everything in
moderation, but by balancing my meals through his suggestions,
I felt like it was making a big difference.
There is nothing easy about committing to change your body.
It is hard work and has tremendous payoffs. Words cannot express
how thrilling this transformation has been for me. It was
a long process, but my results have been phenomenal and I
have all the tools necessary to continue looking and feeling
great. It takes a lot of hard work and effort, eventually
it becomes second nature, and that’s the true moment
when you realize how much you’ve done for yourself.
